About HCM (Handling Company Mijdrecht)
The company processes of HCM are designed to support and unburden clients with direct mail and fulfillment projects.
HCM uses an SAP ERP system that streamlines its processes. Clients can monitor their inventory and online orders through the HCM portal. Connections with Shopify and other e-commerce platforms ensure error-free and fast fulfillment.
Together with Be-Efficient, processes have been optimized, and in addition to significantly improved efficiency, various control and quality measures have been added, improving visibility into the various processes within HCM.
The collaboration with Be-Efficient
In 2022, we became a Be-Efficient customer.
At that time, we were looking for an IT partner to help us take further steps in making our processes more efficient. We already had experience with scanning solutions in the warehouse, but this software couldn’t be expanded further.
From the very first meeting, we were enthusiastic about the combination of a young, brilliant programmer and a logistics consultant with decades of experience, and we began improving our operations.
Together with Be-Efficient, we reviewed and improved the processes step by step.
Everything in the warehouse is now scanned, preventing the packing and shipping of incorrect items. Labels are automatically generated for PostNL, UPS, and other carriers during shipping.
We didn’t stop after automating the warehouse. Using Be-Efficient, orders from our web portal are automatically imported into SAP, and the shipping address is also automatically checked, so that if the address is incorrect, we can adjust it promptly. They now supply over 40 applications, most of which we use.
